I am Sanjida Afrin Tajbi. Internationally certified Makeup Artist. Fiona Makeup and Beauty Salon, a prominent beauty salon in Chittagong, is my business venture.
I am serving as the joint secretary of Beauty Service Owners Association of Bangladesh (BSOAB), a registered organization by Bangladesh government.
I just try to avoid cliché not to take the known road. I’m like “oh I know that will work”. I try to do something different each time cause you want to go ahead.
Creative & hardworking since my childhood, a sine quoi non in today’s fashion world. I never evaluated myself as a makeup artist while growing up. At home, there are a lot of prizes on display. I have an introduction with recitations, songs & poetry from my family.
In 2008, Chattogram Shilpakala Academy held an exhibition of various handicraft goods, where my salon was quite responsive to it. Since then, I have come a long way with a desire to do something of my own.

I love working behind the scenes where I will not be seen but my work will be appreciated by others.
As a makeup artist, I think the biggest challenge we face is staying up to date with changing trends and styles.
Fiona Makeup and Beauty Salon, located at Mehdibagh Chatteshwari Junction in Chattogram, seems to be a great name in the world of beauty.
Fiona, a preferred salon for the middle class to upper class clientele in Ctg. Our fame reached to Dhaka as well.
The salon started its journey in 2014. But the beginning was not so smooth. At that time the salon world was seen with different eyes. At that time, Fiona started the journey in a small scale with two workers after fighting all the adversities. Currently there are 47 employees in my organisation.
Recognised in India (2021) by Kennedy Hoffman, a World Famous International Makeup-Artist, Diploma and Trophy for efforts by Michelly Palma, a world-renowned Global Educator and Brazilian makeup artist, Training from Bangkok Makeup Academy Bangkok, Thailand in 2018, Special Training on hair and skin chemical processing from Mr. Quazy Qumrul Islam, a renowned hair specialist, three training sessions with Selina Munir, a well-known cosmetics artist in London of Bangladeshi origin in 2017, 2018 & 2020.
Followed-International Courses from Bangkok beauty academy (2022) and Raphael olive, an international educator in Mumbai (2022), Best Bridal Makeup Artist in Chattogram, Bangladesh held in Mumbai, India, and Best makeup artist, Bangladesh Women’s Inspirational Award in 2022, Dhaka.
